intricate production
Paris. Shanghai. Hong Kong.
Tokyo. Los Angeles. Orlando.
Six Disney parks in six weeks celebrating Mickey’s 90th birthday through the lens of a Vogue street style photographer. Real, fashionable people—passionate about wearing Mickey on their sleeves.
Though the crew was only a two-person team, this was the most complex production I have managed.
Our crew traveled through five different countries, requiring four work visas, strict travel restrictions in Asia, and the booking and location coordination of a dozen international influencers to be at parks around the world. (Imagine telling your friends where to meet at a theme park, but you don’t share a language and you are also halfway across the world.)
Toss in a highly complex corporation and park function, and it made this scrappy shoot a fully dedicated job for a NY-based creative team.
What we produced, though, was whimsical and magical—as any Disney project should be.
Distributed through custom Disney hub on Vogue.com, 90 still images and a highlight video covering each park.
